Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing and following

    Process Quality Manual

    and

    Food Safety Management System (FSMS)

    guidelines in the packhouse • Support the QA team in maintaining

    GHP, GMP, and GLP

    practices during daily operations • Assist in routine inspection of

    Raw Materials (RM), Finished Goods (FG), and Packaging Materials (PM)

    • Help in maintaining and updating

    quality records, formats, and documents

    daily • Support in implementation and adherence to

    SOPs

    at different stages of the production process • Assist in basic

    hazard identification and risk assessment

    activities under supervision • Coordinate with production and other departments for quality and hygiene compliance • Assist in monitoring

    PRPs and CCPs

    during daily production • Support pest control activities by maintaining records and coordinating schedules • Assist in sample collection and coordination for

    monthly external laboratory testing

    • Help in maintaining

    equipment calibration records

    and follow-up with external agencies • Assist in handling customer complaints documentation and support

    root cause analysis

    • Participate in

    internal audits

    and support audit-related documentation • Assist in conducting

    food safety and hygiene training

    for workers under guidance • Support compliance with

    Food Safety Act 2006

    and

    FSSAI guidelines

Knowledge & Skills :

  • Basic understanding of

    Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS)

    • Awareness of

    FSSAI regulations

    , Food Safety Act 2006, and hygiene practices • Basic knowledge of

    GMP, GHP, and HACCP concepts

    • Good documentation and record-keeping skills • Willingness to learn food safety standards and audit processes • Basic communication and coordination skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors / masters degree in food technology / food science

  • Fresher or 0–6 months experience

    in food manufacturing / packhouse / quality role
  • Internship or project experience in food safety or quality will be an added advantage
