QC Engineer

Job Title: QC Engineer (Fabrication Plant)

Experience: 4–5 Years

Location: [KEP Kallakal]

Job Summary: We are hiring a QC Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in fabrication to manage and improve quality control processes. You will be responsible for checking materials, supervising inspections, ensuring quality standards, and supporting the production team to maintain high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect raw materials, in-process jobs, and final products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Supervise welding, cutting, and fabrication processes as per approved drawings and codes.
• Review WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), PQR (Procedure Qualification Record), and welder qualifications.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
• Handle third-party/client inspections and support audits.
• Implement quality improvement plans and ensure compliance with ISO and other standards.
• Train junior QC staff and monitor their work.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience in quality control in a fabrication or manufacturing plant.
• Good knowledge of welding standards (ASME, AWS, ISO).
• Ability to read technical drawings and use inspection tools (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
• Experience in handling documentation and audits.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Salary - 20,000 - 35,000

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
