Job Summary:

The QC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring product quality throughout the manufacturing process. The role includes implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, analyzing defects, and ensuring compliance with company and industry norms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products as per quality standards.
• Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and documentation.
• Identify defects, raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure adherence to ISO, QA/QC procedures, and company quality policies.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and support continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, and Store teams for quality-related concerns.
• Monitor calibration of instruments and maintain equipment records.
• Support final testing and validation of products before dispatch.
• Assist in customer quality audits and internal quality assessments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of QC procedures, material inspection, and testing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in measuring tools and quality instruments.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with ISO standards and documentation.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• ITI/ Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in QC / QA in manufacturing or engineering industries.
• Experience in pump, automobile, fabrication, or machine manufacturing (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
