Minimum Qualification and Requirements:

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 10-12 years in field inspection of civil construction works.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Certifications: Relevant quality control or construction QC related certifications
• Knowledge: Familiar with construction standards, materials, and testing methods.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve quality issues on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform day to day field inspections of civil construction works to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Monitor and verify that construction activities are carried out as per project specifications and codes.
3. Inspect construction materials for quality and compliance before use on-site.
4. Supervise and witness testing of materials (e.g., concrete, aggregates, soil) to confirm quality.
5. Review and Maintain records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports.
6. Ensure that safety standards and protocols are adhered to during construction activities.
7. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors on quality-related issues.
8. Conduct audits of civil works to assess compliance with design and specification standards.
9. Inspect work performed by subcontractors to ensure it meets project requirements.
10. Review and follow all approved drawings, procedures and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for various civil works activities.
11. Verify the quality of structural elements like foundations, beams, columns, and slabs.
12. Monitor and inspect concrete pouring, curing, and finishing processes on-site.
13. Identify, document, and manage non-conformance issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
14. Ensure adherence to local construction regulations and codes.
15. Perform Joint inspections along with Client as and when required and address quality-related concerns or queries.
16. Report daily progress of inspections and any issues that need resolution to the project manager.
17. Perform quality audits and ensure that corrective actions are followed through.
18. Follow project/Client guidelines for any other requirements.
