Job Description:

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for identifying bugs, reporting issues, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

The ideal candidate is passionate about software testing, detail-oriented, and driven to improve product quality. You will work closely with development and product teams to ensure robust and reliable applications are released to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for software applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide QA status and insights.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Log and track defects, and work with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Maintain and improve existing automated test scripts.
• Contribute to the creation of new automated testing frameworks.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback.
• Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the product lifecycle.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and techniques.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test case management tools like JIRA or Notion.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and defect management.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing.

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Experience in testing web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
