Job Description

Job Title: Quality Analyst (Manual+Automation) Location: Delhi (Work from Office) Experience: 3+ Years Responsibilities: Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to create a test plan and strategy for the software project. Test Case Design: Develop test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on software requirements and user stories. Test Execution: Execute manual and/or automated tests to identify defects, verify functionality, and validate that the software meets quality standards. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems. Work with developers to resolve issues. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce new defects. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to ensure the software meets performance requirements. Automation: Develop and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency. Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with requirements and quality standards. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for testing. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test plans, test cases, and test results. Requirements: A deeper understanding of test automation, test strategy, and regression testing. Testing Tools: Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, JIRA, or similar tools. Programming Skills: Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, C#, or Ruby, especially for test automation. Testing Methodologies: Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including manual testing, automated testing, regression testing, and performance testing. Understanding of Software Development: A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, document, and communicate defects effectively. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thorough testing coverage. Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report on testing progress and results Qualification: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is typically required (B. E/ B.Tech./ MCA/ M.SC(CS)). A master's degree can be a plus. Show more Show less
