QA / QC Manager

As a Quality Control Engineer, your role will involve handling inspections of naval QA agencies and sending inspection calls. You will be responsible for coordinating with Naval QA agencies for inward, in-process, and final inspections. Your hands-on experience in type testing at NABL approved labs will be valuable in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Create and implement quality control methods and practices for PCB testing and electrical/electronic panels to ensure compliance with industry norms, client demands, and legal requirements. - Lead and manage a group of QC technicians and testing engineers, providing direction, instruction, and performance evaluation for high-quality output. - Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic panels and PCBs, including electronic component testing and in-process assembly testing. - Maintain inward/outward quality control records and perform internal compliance testing of components/PCBs. - Interact with Production, Design, and R&D departments to solve testing and quality issues. - Utilize knowledge of various electrical testing tools and NES standards for routine testing of electronics/electrical equipment. - Prepare Quality assurance plans for approval and handle interactions with third-party inspection agencies like Naval QA organization, IRS, ABS, etc. - Prepare inspection files as approved documents and manage third-party inspection processes. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting of electrical/electronic panels and PCBs. - Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), internal compliance testing, and quality assurance practices. - Experience in inspection coordination with third-party agencies and NABL approved labs. - Skills in team management, quality control, and control panel testing.
