QA Lead

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead to oversee the software quality assurance process across projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test strategies, leading QA engineers, ensuring timely releases, and maintaining the highest product quality standards. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps to deliver robust, scalable, and bug-free software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers (manual and/or automation).
• Define and implement quality assurance processes and best practices.
• Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing on web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Own regression, smoke, performance, and integration testing cycles.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure coverage.
• Establish test environments and CI/CD test automation pipelines.
• Track and report QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in release decisions.
• Identify testing tools and frameworks to enhance QA efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of QA experience in software/web/mobile application testing.
• 1–2 years in a QA lead or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficient in test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or Postman.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or similar QA certification.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST-assured.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
