As a QA Automation Tester with 2-4 years of experience, your role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. You will be working in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium and Java. - Performing functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications. - Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to define test scenarios. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using a defect tracking tool. - Optimizing test scripts and improving test execution efficiency. - Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Ensuring adherence to software testing best practices and quality standards. - Generating test reports and providing insights on test coverage and defect trends. Qualifications required for this role: - 2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation testing. - Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and Java for test automation. - Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber for test execution. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) for test integration. - Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. - Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. - Experience with SQL for database validation. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
