Position: QA Lead

Role Overview:

As a QA Lead, you will spearhead quality assurance processes across all platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will lead a team of QA engineers, oversee manual and automated testing efforts, and collaborate closely with product and development teams to create seamless, user-friendly applications.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor QA teams, driving a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement while defining testing strategies, standards, and automation roadmaps with AI-assisted tools like Cursor.

Manage end-to-end manual testing for mobile, web, and desktop apps across devices, OS, and browsers, ensuring functional, usability, accessibility, and performance coverage.

Collaborate with UX and product teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused experiences.

Identify high-value automation areas to reduce regression effort and accelerate releases.

Build and maintain automation frameworks with Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, etc., integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Use tools like Cursor to create, maintain, and run automation scripts faster.

Establish strong defect lifecycle processes, perform root cause analysis, and ensure rapid resolution with development teams.

Track and report clear quality metrics and release readiness to stakeholders.

Continuously refine QA processes, advocate shift-left testing, and standardize reusable documentation.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in QA, with 2+ years in a leadership role.

3+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing for mobile, web, and desktop applications.

Technical Skills

Strong in manual testing and proficient in automation using Flutter Integration Testing, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, with CI/CD integration.

Skilled in AI-assisted testing (Cursor), scripting (Python/Java/JavaScript), and API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

Familiar with performance testing (JMeter/Locust), microservices, and cloud environments (AWS, GCP).

Soft Skills

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering quality products.
