Opportunity The Manager—Customer Marketing role at Hiver is an exciting and impactful opportunity for professionals passionate about driving customer advocacy and retention within a high-growth SaaS company. What You Will Be Working On Lead and execute creative strategies to improve our customer advocacy initiatives, directly impacting Hiver's growth and success. Opportunity As a Software Development Engineer I (Backend) at Hiver, you will play a pivotal role in building our technical landscape and learning with our team while contributing to our vibrant company culture. With our customer base expanding rapidly and processing over 5 million emails daily for thousands of active users, you will be at the forefront of creating and enhancing the user experience. In this role, you will work with a team of highly skilled engineers while providing critical technical direction to our back-end development efforts. You will also have the exciting opportunity to tackle intricate technical challenges, including optimizing our architecture to handle the surging email volume and establishing a framework to monitor and enhance the performance of our back-end systems. You Will Be Working On Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems and APIs for our B2B SaaS platform. Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following software engineering best practices. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and QA to deliver high-impact features. Taking ownership of small to medium-sized modules and features, from ideation to production. Debugging and resolving production issues, and continuously improving system performance and reliability. Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with peers to foster a strong engineering culture. We Are Looking For 1–2 years of experience in software development with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Proficiency in at least one backend language like Python hands-on experience with modern frameworks. Exposure to relational databases (MySQL with a solid understanding of SQL), Redis, Queues & Caching techniques Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS) A passion for solving real-world customer problems through technology. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. A learning mindset and enthusiasm to grow in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
