Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer with a strong focus on test automation to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests across web, API, and backend systems, while performing limited manual testing for exploratory and edge cases. This role is automation-heavy and ideal for someone passionate about building frameworks, ensuring reliability, and delivering high-quality software in a real-time, large-scale environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated regression and functional test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
- Write and run API automation tests (REST/GraphQL) using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
- Perform database testing using SQL to validate campaign data, reporting accuracy, and system integrity.
- Support performance and load testing with tools such as JMeter, Locust, or k6.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and ensure coverage.
- Perform manual exploratory testing for new features and complex scenarios not yet automated.
- Participate in defect triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, automation, and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of QA experience, with strong emphasis on test automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestNG, or PyTest.
- Experience in API automation (Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Locust, k6) is a plus.
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, defect tracking, and Agile practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
