QA Engineer

As a Software Quality Assurance Tester at NIRA Systems, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, modifying, and managing load and performance testing scripts for web applications. Your role will involve effective communication with the development team to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues. Your responsibilities will include planning, designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites using tools such as Selenium and UFT. You will design and build Performance Test Scripts and scenarios for online web applications based on Requirements. Additionally, you will create and execute load and performance tests, define and develop performance test plans, and generate performance metric reports. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of Server, Network, Virtualization, and Database concepts. You should also have expertise in performance testing of web services using tools like LoadRunner and WebLoad. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities are essential. In terms of skills, a Bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is required. You should have 5+ years of Software Testing experience with a background in QA and Testing in a multi-server environment. Experience in developing and maintaining test automation suites using Selenium, UFT, Node.Js, Mocha, Chai, Karma, XUnit, and Protractor is beneficial. Experience working with Continuous Integration tools like TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins, and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Mantis, and Bugzilla is preferred. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance life cycle, and testing methodologies is crucial for success in this role. The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment is also important.
