About the job

We are looking for a skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated software testing and quality assurance.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.

- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and ensure they are met.

- Use BDD Specs to define and clarify acceptance criteria with stakeholders.

- Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Cucumber to support acceptance testing.

- Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.

- Continuously evaluate and improve our testing processes and strategies.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in software testing / QA.

- Knowledge of SDLC & STLC.

- Knowledge of Regression, Sanity and Smoke Testing.

- Knowledge of automated testing in Python. Knowledge of Cucumber is a big plus.

- Experience with acceptance testing and writing BDD specs.

- Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team environment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
