QA Engineer

Role Overview: As a member of a Large Global Organization, your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough manual and functional testing of web applications and APIs at various stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You will be tasked with designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks for both UI and API layers, utilizing tools like Tosca, Selenium, or Cypress. It will also be your duty to evaluate and recommend test automation tools and frameworks that are in alignment with the Woodduck tech stack and integration points, including systems like SAP, Salesforce, and Pricing Analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI and API layers using tools like Tosca, Selenium, or Cypress. - Document and execute detailed test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of application functionality. - Utilize test management tools such as JIRA and ALM for tracking and reporting testing progress. - Test APIs and/or Web Services using tools like Postman, Soap UI, or similar applications. - Evaluate and recommend test automation tools and frameworks in alignment with the tech stack and integration points. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in manual testing of web applications and APIs. - Proficiency in automation testing frameworks like Selenium, Tosca, or Cypress. - Good understanding of functional testing methodologies to validate business requirements. - Familiarity with JavaScript for writing automation scripts and enhancing test cases. - Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI. - Working knowledge of test management platforms like JIRA, ALM, or similar tools. - Exposure to integration points with enterprise systems like SAP, Salesforce, or pricing analytics tools is preferred. - Ability to design scalable test frameworks and recommend tools suitable for evolving tech stacks. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders. Education Requirements: - Any Graduation or Any Post Graduation in Computer Application, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Science and Automation, or Computer Science and Information Security.,
