Manual QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform

  manual testing

  of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
• Prepare and execute detailed

  test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

  based on project requirements.
• Identify, record, and track defects using

  JIRA

  , ensuring timely closure and retesting.
• Conduct

  regression testing

  ,

  UAT support

  , and

  sanity checks

  before each release.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in requirement analysis meetings to understand the scope and create effective test coverage.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and timely delivery.
• Prepare test summary reports and maintain proper testing documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

  in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• 3+ years

  of experience in

  manual testing

  of web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in using

  JIRA

  or similar defect tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC

  , and various testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle

  multiple projects

  and meet

  tight deadlines
