Job Role:

As a Junior QA Engineer at Fusion Finance Limited, you will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for executing tests, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating with development teams to improve the overall development process. This role involves working closely with developers and senior QA members to implement effective testing strategies and maintain high-quality standards for our products.

Responsibilities:

• Execute test cases and report results, verifying software functionality against specifications.
• Meticulously identify, record, and track software bugs and defects.
• Collaborate with developers and senior QA to design and implement effective test strategies.
• Perform regression, functional, and user acceptance testing.
• Assist in automating repetitive testing processes to improve efficiency.
• Comprehensively document testing procedures and results for future reference.
• Actively participate in the review and refinement of project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain current knowledge of software development and best practices and QA methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Key Skills:

• Some experience in manual testing or QA roles.
• Knowledge of automated testing or a strong interest in learning automation tools (e.g., Selenium).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) and Unit Tests is a plus.
• Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
