Job Description

Experience:

6–8 years

Salary:

₹1.5 LPM

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform REST API testing: verification & validation for new features and enhancements
  • Automate API testing using tools like JMeter and Rest Assured
  • Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, document, and track defects; perform defect analysis and impact assessment
  • Conduct regression and post-release testing
  • Establish QA processes and manage end-to-end testing
  • Provide technical guidance and lead small manual & automation teams
  • Regularly communicate test metrics, status, and issues to stakeholders
  • Support agile teams as an individual contributor

Skills & Expertise

  • Strong experience in REST API testing (GET, POST, synchronous/asynchronous)
  • API automation using JMeter, Rest Assured, and Java/Selenium frameworks
  • Core Java programming (2+ years) for test automation
  • Web automation using Selenium & Page Object Model (POM)
  • Database testing using SQL Server or Oracle
  • Familiarity with tools like Fiddler/Charles Proxy
  • Experience with Jira, HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Added advantage: iOS & Android app testing
