As a Lead I - Software Testing in Trivandrum at UST, you will be joining a dynamic team to design, develop, and execute automated test suites for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and efficiency of the software development lifecycle, working on various projects such as web applications, APIs, and system integrations. Here is a breakdown of what will be expected from you: ### Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and JSystem to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and inconsistencies. - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability of testing efforts. - Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to identify and resolve software defects. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. - Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and methodologies. - Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not introduce new issues. - Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings. ### Requirements - Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field. - 4+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on Java and Selenium. - Proven experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks. - Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. - Experience working in an Agile development environment. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Experience with JSystem is highly preferred.
