Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Design and implement test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Identify, report, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Analyze requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand architecture and improve test coverage.
• Ensure high quality through code reviews and continuous improvement of automation practices.
• Generate test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving QA processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience in automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or Ruby.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, Karate, etc.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
• Experience working with version control (Git) and CI/CD environments.
• Good understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of containerization and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB or similar certification.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave)
