QA Automation Engineer 100

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

QA Automation Engineer

to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web and API applications. The role involves working in Agile environments, validating backend data, and ensuring high-quality software releases. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Robot Framework and REST Assured (or equivalent API automation frameworks).
Perform API testing using Postman and validate responses.
Write Python scripts for automation tasks and backend validations.
Perform database validation using SQL queries on Oracle or other relational databases.
Track, log, and manage defects using JIRA.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with development teams for requirement understanding and issue resolution.
Work in cloud-based environments (Microsoft Azure) to validate cloud applications and services.
Ensure adherence to Agile SDLC practices and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Robot Framework.
Proficiency in Python for automation tasks.
API testing experience using REST Assured or similar frameworks.
SQL skills for database validation and backend testing.
Experience with Postman for API testing.
Familiarity with JIRA for Agile project management and bug tracking.
Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).
Experience in cloud-based testing environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
