QA Automation Engineer

Job Purpose: To ensure quality and reliability of software applications/services through effective testing and defect identification.
Scope: Support testing and validation across development cycles to meet performance, functionality and compliance standards.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automation tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, and other team members to define and refine test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Continuously enhance automation frameworks and processes to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Occasionally work on the embedded system testing as well which may include performing testing on embedded systems, firmware, and hardware-software integrated products.
• Validate communication between embedded devices, sensors, and control units.
• Develop and execute test scripts or test benches for embedded systems validation.
• Conduct hardware interface testing, including serial communication (UART, SPI, I2C) and GPIO validation.

Qualification and Skills

· 2–3 years of hands-on experience in QA Manual & Automation and/or Embedded QA

· B.Tech/B.E.(IT/ Computer Engineering) / BCA and MCA/ M.Sc.(CA and IT)

· Proficiency in Python / Javascript

· Experience with API testing tools like Postman / RestAssured / Karate

· Familiarity with testing frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Pytest, etc.).

· Proficient in manual and automation testing with strong experience in creating and executing test cases.

· Hands-on experience in Black Box and White Box testing methodologies.

· Expertise in using Selenium WebDriver for automation testing.

· Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)

· Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and version control (Git)

· Good to have experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or simulation-based testing.

· Good to have knowledge of performance or reliability testing tools like JMeter.

· Proficient in using JIRA project management tool, BBT testing, Sanity testing, Regression Testing, Retesting

Know -how and clear understanding of the working of public cloud platforms - AWS (API Gateway, Lamda, ECR) and AzureStrong analytical, trouble shooting and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
