QA Analyst

Job Description

We seek a meticulous and proactive QA Analyst to join our innovative software product team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and performance of our software products by conducting thorough testing, tracking bugs, and driving process improvements. You will collaborate closely with developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our software is stable, reliable, and ready for launch. Product Expertise : Gain a thorough understanding of our products to become the Subject Matter Expert (SME). Production Issue Management : Analyze and review production issues, collaborate with the Development team to identify root causes, and assess the impact of applied fixes. Testing and Automation : Perform regression testing using the existing automation suite. Manually test scenarios not covered by automation and identify gaps in coverage to provide feedback to the Test Automation team for improvements. Metrics and Reporting : Prepare and share monthly metrics with management, detailing production support tickets, root causes, and effort analysis. Test Planning and Execution: Create, review, and prioritize test cases. Act as a module expert, ensuring high test quality for the assigned module. Application Stability : Take accountability for the application\u2019s stability, striving to ensure zero issues in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production. Ownership and Stakeholder Collaboration : Take complete ownership of production issues, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure timely resolution and closure. Requirements Desired Skills Experience : 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.Proven experience in handling production issues effectively. Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and tools.Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting issues. Soft Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent team collaboration and interpersonal skills. Additional Skills (Preferred) : Prior experience with SharePoint applications.Familiarity with Azure DevOps tools.Experience in Agile delivery methodologies.
