Python/Django Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a mid-level Django developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. You'll work on implementing robust back-end functionality, optimizing performance, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Django framework and related technologies.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Implement security and data protection best practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Work closely with product managers and other team members to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications as necessary.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 years of experience in web development using Python and Django.
• Strong knowledge of Django ORM and Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Proficient understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and SQL.
• Experience with API integration and development (RESTful services).
• Good understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
