Job Purpose (Checklist)
CGS India is seeking Sr QA Engineer a talented and motivated Team Lead to join our team.
Reporting to Team Lead, you will help refine and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our engineering needs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining new product introduction related health care application systems.
In this role, you will also promote best practices and internal business processes. You will be responsive and able to adapt quickly to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive change, and be excited by the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.
Job Responsibility (Checklist)
The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key deliverables:
  • Provide direction, support, and motivation to the team, ensuring everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor team and individual performance, using metrics to track progress, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coach and mentor team members, conduct training, and create development plans to enhance skills and support career progression
  • Effectively delegate tasks, distribute workload, and ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team and between the team and other departments or stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team to maintain a productive and harmonious environment.
  • Translate company objectives into actionable goals for the team and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Act as a point of contact for the team, representing them to upper management, advocating for their needs, and reporting on progress.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages engagement and morale among team members.
Qualification
  • Full time IT Engineering or equivalent degree (preferably in Computers )
Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience as a manual tester
Knowledge and Competencies
  • Overall IT experience of 8+ years
  • Prior experience in people management
  • Considerable knowledge in SQL DB and Python scripting
  • Handson experience in Jira and Confluence and Postman
  • Ability to clearly convey information and build strong relationships.
  • Inspiring and guiding team members to perform at their best.
  • Effectively resolving issues that impact the teams productivity and morale.
  • A commitment to helping individuals grow and develop their skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Understanding and managing ones own emotions and recognizing and influencing the emotions of others.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to manage the expectations of stakeholders
