Python Fullstack Developer | 5 Years

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Fullstack Developer with 5 years of experience in designing and building scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Fullstack Python Development, Microservices, and Cloud DevOps Architecture, and will play a key role in building and scaling our product offerings.This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work across front-end and back-end systems, and a mindset to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Solve global-scale problems as an integral member of a world-class team.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices in Python (Django/Flask).
• Develop REST services in Python and integrate them into cloud-based architecture (AWS preferred).
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and Customer Success teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions.
• Coordinate with frontend (Next.js/React/Typescript) and backend (DB, models) teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and optimize query performance.
• Write automation scripts and adopt tools/processes to improve performance, security, and scalability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous delivery of features.
• Analyze existing codebase and data flows to refactor for improved reliability and efficiency.
  

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience in Python Fullstack Development.
• Experience in Microservices architecture, with exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in AWS (or other cloud platforms) for deployment, monitoring, and scaling.
• Experience with libraries like Google maps, JSON, SQLAlchemy, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and other SciPy packages.
• Experience with Relational Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like SQLAlchemy.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and REST API.
• Expertise with Web frameworks like Flask, Django, and Web Servers like Gunicorn, Tornado is a plus.
• Skill in Kafka, Redis, Spark is a plus.
• Domain experience in Supply-Chain and/or the Transportation industry is a plus.
• Experience delivering a B2B SaaS product to production is a plus.
