ABOUT THE ROLE: We are hiring an Advanced Python Engineer to join our development team. This role focuses on designing and developing Python-based solutions, with a strong emphasis on data cleaning, data modelling, and integration with various systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming skills, experience handling and transforming datasets, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop robust Python applications and scripts for data-driven use cases.

• Perform data cleaning, wrangling, and modelling for analytical or operational needs.

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate solutions into products.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.

• Support the creation of scalable ETL pipelines and workflows.

• Work with APIs, SDKs, and databases to enhance solution capabilities.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.

• Stay updated with new developments in Python ecosystems and data processing best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field.

• 2 years of professional experience in Python programming.

• Expertise in Advanced Python, Data Cleaning, and Data Modelling.

• Experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL for data handling.

• Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data formats.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
