About BrandBook:

BrandBook is a fast-growing advertising and branding agency based in Calicut, Kerala. We deliver end-to-end digital solutions including Branding, Digital Marketing, CRM, App & Website Development, Video Production, Graphic Design, and more. We are now expanding our technical team and seeking a skilled Python Django Developer to build powerful, scalable backend systems and contribute to innovative digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python Django/Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and optimize queries for performance.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and user management systems.
• Integrate backend services with frontend applications (React/Angular/Vue).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Use Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.).
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ 2+ years of experience in Python Django (including Django REST Framework)
✅ Strong knowledge of Python OOPs concepts and backend logic building
✅ Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM
✅ Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL integration
✅ Hands-on experience with Git for version control
✅ Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic frontend integration)
✅ Knowledge of security best practices (authentication, CSRF, XSS, SQL injection prevention, etc.)
✅ Problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail✅ Ability to work in an agile, team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills:

✔ Experience with Docker and deployment pipelines
✔ Familiarity with Celery & task queues
✔ Knowledge of caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached)
✔ Exposure to cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, Vercel, etc.)
✔ Experience with testing frameworks (Pytest, UnitTest)
✔ Basic knowledge of AI/ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
