About The Opportunity

A technology services company operating in the Software & Computer Vision / Imaging sector, delivering image analytics, automation, and visual-AI solutions to enterprise customers across healthcare, manufacturing, and geospatial domains. We build production-grade image pipelines and deploy reliable, scalable Python-based imaging services.Role: Python Image Processing Engineer (Primary title: Python Image Processing Engineer)Role & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise image preprocessing and augmentation pipelines (denoising, normalization, resizing, color-space transforms) in Python for production use.
• Develop and maintain computer-vision modules using OpenCV, scikit-image and Pillow for feature extraction, segmentation, and object detection preprocessing.
• Integrate image-processing components into backend services and REST APIs; collaborate with engineers to ensure reproducible outputs and low-latency inference.
• Create unit and integration tests for imaging code, validate pipeline accuracy on annotated datasets, and implement data-quality checks.
• Profile and optimise performance (memory, CPU/GPU usage) and prepare models/processing steps for containerised deployment.
• Document algorithms, maintain clean codebase (Git), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience integrating processing pipelines into APIs or microservices and familiarity with basic deployment workflows.
