Job Description

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with experience in PostgreSQL to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining Python-based applications with PostgreSQL database integration. You will work closely with our development team to build scalable backend solutions, write efficient queries, and ensure data integrity. Key Responsibilities: · Develop and maintain Python-based applications with PostgreSQL integration. · Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures . · Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices. · Troubleshoot and debug database performance issues. · Work with Django/Flask/FastAPI (if applicable) for backend development. · Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate APIs. · Ensure data security and implement proper backup/recovery strategies. · Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications: · 6 months - 2 years of experience in Python development . · Knowledge of PostgreSQL (queries, indexing, optimization). · Familiarity with ORM tools like Django ORM, or Psycopg2. · Experience with RESTful APIs and backend frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI). · Basic understanding of database design, normalization, and transactions . · Knowledge of Git version control and Agile methodologies. · Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills (Bonus): · Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure (especially RDS or cloud databases). · Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines .
