PearlSoft Technolgies LLP , Cochin is looking for Backend Engineer (Python / AirFlow) Key Responsibilities Develop and manage ETL pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow to extract data from: SAP Korber WMS OpSuite POS Build reusable data transformation scripts and modular DAGs for scheduled workflows. Implement Change Data Capture (CDC) logic to support near real-time sync with transactional systems. Collaborate with DBAs and Data Engineers for schema design, staging, and DQ rule implementation. Integrate Airflow workflows with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins). Ensure pipelines meet SLAs, are fault-tolerant, and can recover from failures or reprocessing scenarios. Monitor pipeline health, perform debugging, and support QA and UAT testing cycles. Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years of experience in backend/data engineering with strong Python expertise. Hands-on experience in: Apache Airflow (authoring DAGs, scheduling, sensors, hooks, operators) Data integration from SAP or other ERP/WMS/POS systems Working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred) Experience building secure, scalable data pipelines and ETL frameworks. Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and test-driven development.
