Role Overview: As a skilled Python Developer at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for supporting AI-driven workflows and system orchestration through API integration, automation, and CI/CD systems. You will design resilient automation pipelines using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. Your background in building and securing integrations between platforms like GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency with REST APIs and webhooks such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira APIs - Implement OAuth and token-based authentication for secure integrations - Handle errors effectively with retries and rate limiting strategies - Parse JSON data and structure request/response appropriately - Utilize Python for automation, especially in AI workflows - Use Bash for system-level scripting and YAML for CI/CD configuration - Familiarity with SDKs or CLI tools for GHES, Jenkins, etc. - Deep knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or GitLab CI - Understand build pipelines, triggers, runners, and agents for efficient workflows - Configure jobs to allow AI agents to initiate or monitor pipelines - Implement event-driven architecture using webhooks or pub/sub models - Utilize message queues and brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication - Build lightweight APIs or microservices as adapters for system integration - Manage secrets securely with tools like HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager - Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and auditing mechanisms - Design API key lifecycle and least privilege access for enhanced security Qualifications Required: - 4 to 6 years of experience in API integration, automation, CI/CD, system integration architecture, security, and compliance - Proficiency in Python, Bash, and YAML scripting - Familiarity with SDKs or CLI tools for various platforms - Deep knowledge of CI/CD systems like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or GitLab CI - Experience with event-driven architecture, message queues, and brokers - Understanding of secrets management, role-based access control, and API key lifecycle Additional Details: GlobalLogic is a trusted digital engineering partner known for collaborating with the world's largest companies to create innovative digital products and experiences.
