Job Summary: The Purchase Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement of raw materials, components, equipment, and services necessary for manufacturing operations. This role involves supplier negotiations, purchase order management, cost control, and coordination with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted production flow. Key Responsibilities: Source and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, machinery, and services. Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any delivery or quality issues. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels. Coordinate with production, planning, and inventory teams to forecast needs. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives. Stay updated on market trends, supply chain risks, and alternative sourcing options.
