Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies that are aligned with production schedules. Your main duties will include sourcing and negotiating with reliable vendors and suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and consumables. It will be your responsibility to maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. You will also be tasked with evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing metrics. In this role, you will work closely with the production, quality control, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination of procurement activities. It is essential that you ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards in all procurement processes. Additionally, you will be required to monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. As part of your responsibilities, you will need to maintain accurate records of all procurement activities and prepare regular reports for management review. This is a full-time, permanent position with the benefit of food provided. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the work location is in person.
