Purchasing Manager

As a Purchasing Lead for the assigned division or product category, your role involves leading and coordinating purchasing activities to ensure smooth operations and cost competitiveness. Your responsibilities include: - Project Management: - Collaborating with product managers, engineering teams, and vendors to develop new products or redesign existing ones for cost competitiveness. - Leading projects and influencing different functions to achieve goals, ensure results are accomplished, and deliver projects on time. - Identifying potential quality risks and implementing strategies to improve product cost through increased production efficiency, re-engineering, or material changes. - Approaching tasks and projects with streamlined processes to minimize rework and maximize efficiency. - Identifying priorities during dynamic work environments. - Vendor Management: - Maintaining effective business relationships with vendors associated with assigned product categories. - Understanding vendor impact on overall business and product category. - Proactively monitoring potential changes with vendors or in the manufacturing industry. - Leading supplier scorecard processes and ensuring contract compliance. - Identifying high potential vendors and developing sourcing risk mitigation plans. - Teamwork: - Providing solutions or escalations. - Collaborating effectively and respectfully with teams. - Acting as a team player and facilitator among teams. Qualifications Required: - Education level: Bachelor's Degree and above. - Working experience: Previous experience in procurement functions within a healthcare company or a regional sourcing center is preferred. Experience in new product development and new supplier development is a plus. - Language: Proficiency in English. - Overseas educational background or working experience is advantageous.,
