Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Specialist to join our procurement team. The Purchase Specialist will play a key role in ensuring that our company obtains high-quality goods and services at the best possible prices. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, strong analytical abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and products.
2. Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
3. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous deals.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
6. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in procurement.
8. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service.
9. Assist in the development of procurement policies and procedures.
10. Handle any other tasks or projects related to procurement as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience working in procurement or purchasing roles.
3. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
6. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
7. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement strategies.
8. Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
10. Certification in procurement (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
