Purchase Manager

As a Purchase Manager at Town and City Developers, your role involves developing an effective purchasing strategy to streamline procurement processes. You will be reviewing and processing purchase orders, managing the purchasing team, and maintaining records of goods ordered and received. Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers, selecting prospective vendors, and evaluating them based on quality, timeliness, and price are crucial aspects of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Building and maintaining relationships with vendors - Scheduling deliveries and ensuring timely fulfillment of orders - Researching and evaluating vendors to compare pricing and services - Coordinating with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs - Ensuring the quality of procured items and addressing any problems that may arise - Staying updated with trends in procurement Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree - Minimum of 12-18 years of experience as a purchasing manager in high-rise construction, both residential and commercial - Experience in using procurement software and databases - Supervisory experience To excel in this role, you should possess excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, research, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
