Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to ensure cost efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to maintain adequate stock.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services.
Coordinate with internal departments (production, finance, operations) to understand requirements.
Prepare and maintain purchase orders, records, and reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) like cost savings, vendor performance, and lead time.
Build strong vendor relationships to ensure continuous supply and quality.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong negotiation and analytical skills
Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management & supply chain
Excellent communication & vendor management skills
Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle)
Decision-making and problem-solving ability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
