Job Description:

Job Role: Purchase executive

Department: Purchase

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from local suppliers.
  • Daily activities such as purchasing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
  • Maintaining good relation with suppliers and getting the materials with the lead time.
  • Getting request from departments getting quotation and finalizing the quotation, Releasing the PO, follow up & making payments to suppliers
  • Developing the new vendors – getting all the documents from supplier & reviewing all the documents and submitting.
  • Updating and maintaining records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
  • Arranging Transportation vehicles for all the shipments (Sales Department & PMC Request)
  • Getting stock in and receiving from PMC and making payments to suppliers.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and getting cost down.
  • Completing all project works with in the lead time with less cost.
  • For project work getting the quotations and finalizing and arranging the suppliers and finishing the work within the lead time.
  • Submitting the supplier invoices to finance for accounting purpose.
  • Maintaining the record of Manual Pos.
  • Interaction with colleagues in all the related works.
  • Coordinating delivery with the warehouse against storage capacities.
  • Ensuring all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
  • Inspecting stock and reporting any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
  • Supplier Audit: To examine the quality of a particular supplier (quality, documents, etc.,)

  • Superb written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to identify market trends and make decisions in a high-stress environment.

DESIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Master in Business Administration /Post Graduate /Any Bachelor’s Degree
