Job Description

We are looking for a Purchase Executive with minimum 1 year of mandatory experience in a hospital field .

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year hospital purchase experience (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of hospital procurement processes
  • Vendor coordination and purchase order handling
  • Inventory and documentation management
  • Good communication and coordination skills

Job Summary:

The Purchase Executive is responsible for coordinating and executing the procurement of medical and non-medical items required for hospital operations. The role involves vendor management, purchase order processing, inventory coordination, price negotiation, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials as per hospital standards and NABH guidelines. The position supports cost-effective purchasing while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and uninterrupted supply for all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and procure medical, surgical, pharmaceutical, and non-medical items as per departmental requirements.
  • Evaluate and select vendors based on quality, pricing, reliability, and compliance standards.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in coordination with concerned departments.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and contract terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the stores/pharmacy for timely replenishment.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, GRNs, and documentation for audits.
  • Ensure all procured items meet hospital quality standards and vendor specifications.
  • Track order status, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Resolve supply issues, shortages, or discrepancies with vendors.
  • Assist in annual rate contract preparation and vendor performance evaluation.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital procurement policies and NABH standards.
  • Coordinate with finance for invoice clearing and payment processing.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives and monitor market trends for better purchasing decisions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
