Purchase Executive – Infrastructure

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and purchase construction materials, electrical/mechanical items, and consumables as per project requirements.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor and supplier database.
• Float inquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts.

2. Purchase Order & Documentation

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after approval.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, invoices, delivery challans, and GRNs.

3. Coordination & Site Support

• Coordinate with project, site, stores, and accounts teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or quality discrepancies.

4. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Assist in cost control by identifying cost-effective suppliers.
• Track material consumption and avoid overstocking or shortages.
• Support project teams in budget monitoring.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure materials meet approved specifications and standards.
• Coordinate inspections and quality checks when required.
• Follow statutory, contractual, and safety compliance norms.

6. Reporting & MIS

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly purchase reports.
• Track pending POs, deliveries, and payments.
• Support audits with required procurement documentation.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Diploma (Engineering, Supply Chain, or Commerce preferred)

Experience

• 2–5 years in procurement for infrastructure, construction, or EPC companies

Key Skills

• Knowledge of infrastructure materials
• Vendor negotiation & procurement process
• ERP / Tally (preferred)
• MS Excel & documentation skills
• Strong coordination & communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
