Purchase Executive

Role & Responsibilities:

1 Procurement Planning:

• Understand project requirements by coordinating with design, project, and site teams.
• Prepare procurement schedules based on project timelines to ensure timely availability of materials.

2 Vendor Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors for materials like plywood, laminates, hardware, lighting, furniture, furnishings, and decor items.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and onboard new ones based on quality, pricing, and reliability.

3 Purchase Operations:

• Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Ensure all materials and products meet the required quality and specification standards before acceptance

4 Cost Management:

• Source materials at competitive rates without compromising quality.
• Keep track of market rates and trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure purchases stay within approved budget limits

5 Coordination with Internal Teams:

• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and design teams to align procurement with project timelines.
• Provide regular updates on purchase status and expected deliveries.

7 Inventory Monitoring:

• Work with stores or site teams to track inventory levels and avoid overstocking or material shortages.
• Monitor material usage to prevent wastage.

8 Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all materials purchased meet design specifications and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with the quality team or site team for inspection and approval of materials

Preferred candidate profile:

• Knowledge of interior design materials and products
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good communication and coordination skills

Education:

Any Graduate/ Post Graduate
