We are now looking for a detail-oriented and proactive "Executive – Purchase" to join our procurement team and contribute to smooth and efficient purchasing operations.

Role Overview

The Executive – Purchase will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities — from sourcing and vendor coordination to PO creation, follow-ups, and material collection. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in purchase operations, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to handle vendor interactions professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and operational items as per production requirements.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and ensure approval as per company policy.
• Conduct local market visits for vendor follow-up, material collection, and price verification.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Stores, Accounts, QA, etc.) for seamless procurement flow.
• Maintain and update vendor database, PO records, quotations, and price comparisons.
• Prepare purchase reports, MIS, and cost analysis using MS Excel.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve discrepancies in material or invoices.
• Support Purchase Head in negotiations, vendor development, and audit documentation.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and audit standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: B.Com / M.Com (mandatory).
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the food processing, FMCG, or manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS reporting, and data analysis).
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, PO management, and vendor coordination.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to visit the market and vendors regularly for procurement and material collection.
