Roles & Responsibilities Independently looking after the day-to-day functions of the department Allocation and monitoring of activities to Subordinates on a day-to-day basis Purchase and Logistics planning Procurement of Raw materials, packing materials, Capital equipment related to projects, Engineering materials (Electrical, mechanical, electronics, pneumatics, process, civil and administrative.) Laboratory chemicals, consumables and spares, and maintenance items. AMC and CMCsS Procurement of project requirements of civil works (construction of buildings as per our engineering drawings), coordination with concerned departments to fulfil the targets. Executing Annual maintenance contracts. Stores and Inventory management. Vendor development, Vendor rating, negotiating with vendors and Alternative Sourcing from time to time. Monitoring of Payable Accounts in coordination with Accounts. Focus on continuous improvement and cost saving. Preparation of Departmental Budget and monitoring the expenditure and complete auditing in all wings. Submission of MIS statements from time to time. Co-ordination with the plant and other concerned departments. Attend all types of Liaison work concerning all Government departments and successfully complete within the stipulated period.
