Job Summary: Sourcing Expert - Expediting & Contracts
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Expert to join our Sourcing team. The successful candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in sourcing, contracts, and procurement, with a focus on expedited sourcing. The Sourcing Expert will be responsible for managing complex sourcing projects, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Expedited Sourcing: Manage urgent sourcing requests, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining quality and cost standards.2. Contract Management: Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.3. Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans, identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier rationalization.4. Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring delivery of high-quality goods and services.5. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.6. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment with business objectives.7. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyse sourcing data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement, and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. Requirements: 1. Education: Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Procurement, or a related field.2. Experience: 6-8 years of experience in sourcing, contracts, and procurement, with a focus on expedited sourcing.3. Skills: - Strong negotiation and contract management skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle).4. Certifications: CIPS, ISM, or other relevant procurement certifications preferred.
