Job Description

As a Material Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, tools, and equipment according to technical requirements. Your key duties will include coordinating with vendors for quotations, negotiations, and finalization, preparing purchase orders, and tracking delivery timelines. It will be your responsibility to ensure that inventory levels are maintained to prevent shortages and work closely with the production and engineering team to understand purchase needs. Additionally, you will maintain the vendor database, update price lists, and verify material quality and delivery as per specifications. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering or a related field. You must have a good understanding of technical materials and components, familiarity with purchase documentation, vendor management, and ERP systems. Proficiency in MS Office and purchase software is essential, along with strong negotiation and communication skills. The ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities is crucial for success in this role. This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the job location requires in-person presence.
