Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for end-to-end procurement of engineering consumables, spares, and capital equipment.
Manage purchases for maintenance, preventive maintenance, utilities (HVAC, boiler, chiller, compressor, etc.), and HBIC systems.
Develop and maintain a reliable vendor network ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely supply.
Conduct price negotiations, finalize terms, and manage vendor performance.
Coordinate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams for technical specifications.
Ensure all purchase activities comply with GMP, audit standards, and company policies.
Maintain accurate purchase documentation and records in ERP (SAP / Tally / Oracle).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of engineering consumables sourcing and vendor management.
Prior experience in pharmaceutical engineering procurement (Injectables / OSD preferred).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
Sound understanding of plant maintenance and utility systems.
Proficiency in ERP tools and MS Office.
