Job Description

Source and procure raw materials such as plastic resins, aluminum foils, caps, laminates, and bottles used in liquid packaging. Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approval and order placement with suppliers. Track orders to ensure timely delivery, especially critical for continuous production processes. Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify potential new vendors. Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions. Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, and delivery compliance. Coordinate with inventory and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Monitor material consumption trends and adjust procurement plans accordingly. Assist in cost analysis and contribute to cost-saving initiatives. Monitor market trends and raw material price fluctuations. Maintain accurate records of POs, invoices, contracts, and supplier information. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant industry regulations. Liaise with production, quality assurance, R&D, and logistics departments to align purchasing with production planning. Support new product development teams with sourcing suitable materials.
