Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement and logistics operations, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, purchasing, and distribution. Your role will involve ensuring cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely availability of materials, with a specific focus on raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) in the pharma, Ayurvedic, and cosmetic industries. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, maintain, and strengthen a reliable vendor network to ensure consistent supply and competitive pricing. - Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for RM, PM, and stationery based on quality, delivery, cost, and service parameters. - Lead price negotiations and establish long-term supplier agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable commercial terms. - Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in alignment with approved budgets and company procurement policies. - Monitor market trends and identify new suppliers, alternate raw materials, or cost-effective packaging options. - Maintain supplier performance records and conduct periodic performance reviews. - Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics for timely and efficient transportation of goods. - Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents for domestic and international shipments. - Track deliveries, resolve shipment delays, and ensure proper import/export documentation compliance. - Optimize logistics costs through route planning, load optimization, and transporter negotiations. - Ensure materials are received, stored, and dispatched in accordance with company standards and regulatory compliance. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchase transactions, supplier contracts, and logistics documents. - Prepare and present regular reports on procurement spend analysis, supplier performance, and logistics efficiency. - Record and monitor stationery and consumables procurement for internal control and audit readiness. - Support internal and external audits with complete and accurate procurement and logistics documentation. Qualifications & Skills: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in the pharma, Ayurvedic, or cosmetic industries. - Strong understanding of RM & PM procurement processes relevant to the industry. - Proficiency in MS Office, Tally, and ERP systems (preferred). - Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. - Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships. - Strong cost optimization and process improvement capabilities. - High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. - Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Team-oriented, proactive, and result-driven approach.
