Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Receive and review customer enquiries and RFQs (Request for Quotation).
Interact with the Sales and Application teams to understand the process requirement, scope, and boundary conditions.
Prepare
Technical Requirement Summary
outlining customer needs, deliverables, and exclusions.
Evaluate feasibility and suggest suitable laser sources, optics, motion systems, and automation concepts.
Develop preliminary machine concepts in coordination with Design and Application teams.
Prepare
Technical Offer
including system configuration, specifications, and performance commitments.
Draft layout drawings or system block diagrams (using standard templates).
Prepare detailedCosting Sheetcovering:
Bought-out components (lasers, optics, electricals, pneumatics, etc.), fabrication and machining costs and assembly, wiring, testing, and overheads
Prepare Techno-Commercial Offer and Quotation as per company format.
Ensure clarity on inclusions/exclusions, delivery timelines, payment terms, warranty, and after-sales support.
Support Sales team during customer technical discussions and negotiations.
Maintain revision control for proposals and cost sheets.
Work with Different teams

Preferred candidate profile

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems in machine design.
Knowledge of different laser processes preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Proficient in MS Excel (for costing), AutoCAD/SolidWorks (for layouts), and ERP systems.
Excellent documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
